Every day we have the opportunity to be creative and experience new things in our business.  It is like writing a new song every day.  Some songs are about standing on the mountain top and some… well let’s just say… life isn’t as colorful without the Blues…   

Every day we have the opportunity to build bridges between business partners and to solve problems. I believe our role as a Manufacturer’s Representatives is that of a solution provider and channel manager, focused on improving profitability.  A wise manufacturer friend once told me, “The difference between a direct sales force and a rep sales force is, my reps wake up broke every day.  They have to work every day for every dollar they make.” Some find that scary, I find it exhilarating! For me as an owner and entrepreneur, I wouldn’t have it any other way.  That’s why they call it work, it’s hard. 

Every day we wake up in an amazing country that gives us every opportunity to build something great.  I think Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best when he stated “America is another name for opportunity”  For me as a husband and father, my passion is about living a life of integrity and to be a role model for my sons and for their families as they grow old."

HISTORY

Tier2 Group was established in June of 2001 by Doug Ozolins of Indianapolis, Indiana. Doug began his career as an Independent Manufacturers Representative in January of 1993 working for Gaudian Sales based out of Chicago, IL.  In May of 2001 Doug was offered the purchase of the Indiana and Kentucky territories from Gaudian Sales to service STAFDA and ISA ( Industrial Supply Association ) members.


In 2015, Derek Ozolins officially began his career as a Manufacturers Representative with Tier2 Group. This will usher in the next generation of this family owned business.  We look forward to a long and prosperous road ahead.


We have been members of STAFDA and ISA or ISA Partners from day one of starting our business. We are deeply committed to being an active member in ISA as an IMR 2.0 and in STAFDA.  We believe that if you decide to be in a business, you should do everything in your power to help the industry.
